I have had issues with consuming gluten ... however, I now follow a gluten free diet and feel much better! Always interested to hear other people with same and their experiences.

I'm a junk food junky. I'd be a very non-compliant diabetic for sure.

I don't drink alcohol. It makes me feel worse.

I don't eat red meat. It makes me feel worse.

I'm trying Bragg's Raw Non-filtered Apple Cider Vinegar (1 Tablespoon twice a day) It's tough to take, but I'm starting to feel a little better. It's only been a few weeks, so we'll see...

I also started taking Tumeric. It seems to be helping too.

Look them up...see what they can do for you. Ask your Doctor if okay to try. They both do so many great things, and are natural.

We should avoid caffeine. I don't. It's the only crutch I have that enables me to get up out of bed to do the things I have to do. A little bit helps me so much!

I pray a lot. For strength and for others having to deal with what I deal with everyday.

I have no food allergies. I've tried Gluten Free Diet... couldn't tell a difference after 6 months, so I don't pay that much attention anymore.

I hope this helps...we're all different, so please...talk to your Doctor first before adding anything to your health program.

God Bless & Much Love!

I'm 63 and doing pretty well for the most part. At my age, I've seen plenty of diet fads (and claims) come and go so I tend to question all of them. I just try to use a little good sense and for me the worst is eating too much all at one time, I feel awful then. I'll just mention that I'm still recovering from chemo effects but this was true when I had great health as well. Hard to go wrong with a bowl of oatmeal in the AM with fruit, it's worked for longer than I've been around. OK everyboby's going to eat something not so great for them now and then and this can't be helped. Constant worry about dietary issues is likely as bad for health as poor food! I've met some of these types. Exercise has helped me at least as much as paying attention to diet. I feel much better for hours... after even a 1/2 hour bike ride and a good walk helps too. I take a multivitamin daily but that's just been a part of my routine for ages. Just thinking some good sense can help a lot when it comes to dietary habits. Oh.. somebody here mentioned caffeine. Coffee I presume? Hell no I'll never give up the AM coffee. Thanks for the topic, it's a good one....
