Pineapple Angel Food Cake

Ingredients 8 Number of people
1 Box Angel Food Cake Mix
1 20 ounce can crushed pineapple
(OPTIONAL)
1 can of Vanilla frosting
Chopped walnuts
Directions
In a large bowl, blend the cake mix and the pineapple juice and all together by hand. It will foam up but that is normal. Blend until all the pineapple and juice are absorbed.
Spray a 9 x 13 pan with cooking or baking spray. Pour the batter into the pan and spread evenly.
Preheat the oven to 350º. Bake the cake for 30 minutes. Let cool before frosting and adding the chopped nuts. You can also serve unfrosted with a dollop of whipped topping on top.
Notes/Tips
Use different canned fruits for variety such as applesauce, mandarine oranges, fruit cocktail but make sure you mash the fruit cocktail and mandarin oranges to blend with the cake mix.
