Hello everyone,
How are you doing? 😊
Living with acromegaly can bring about dramatic changes in physical appearance due to the excess growth hormone in the body. These changes, such as enlarged hands and feet, facial features, or joint pain, can impact how we see ourselves and affect our self-confidence. For many, dealing with these visible symptoms can lead to struggles with body image and feelings of frustration or isolation.
How do you feel about your body image since being diagnosed with acromegaly? What has helped you cope with these changes and boost your confidence?
