How are you feeling today?
Mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS) is one of a group of diseases known as mastocytoses. It is a condition caused by mast cells being too easily stimulated, reacting, releasing substances and degranulating. This way, mast cells become ultra-reactive to stimuli, which is considered abnormal.
How were you diagnosed with MCAS? How long did it take to receive the diagnosis?
