I have used lexapro for anxiety and it has been OK. I also take it for my depression... I never asked, but I guess it treats both? However, after discussing it in another forum, I think Lexapro is causing me to have low sex drive.

I have had a good results with CBD and Kratom for anxiety also. Not so much with depression, but they both seem to take the edge off of me. I do not know why, but Kratom has been cuasing me some bad headaches.

I have taken xanax for when I would have really bad panic attacks. However, I no longer use that medication. I try to self medicate mostly with CBD (I do have kratom also). I also have Cymbalta.

How are you today? Have you seen this older discussion? emoticon cute

How do you manage your anxiety? Have you tried any medications - antidepressants (Cymbalta, Paxil, Zoloft...), anxiolytics (Xanax, Klonopin...) or antiepileptics (Lyrica)? What about therapy or alternative treatments? How have they worked for you?

@Courtney_J I have tried about every medicine. My doctors won't prescribed zanex anymore. I take Buspar for anxiety, it helps a little. Can't do cbd or weed because of drug tests for jobs. I have even tried the new drug trintellex, I am now on Pritiq. My depression is about the same, I'm not suicidal but have no energy or motivation. I just starre counseling again. I'm trying to exercise, get enough sleep & active in my church but it's a battle fighting the constant fatigue. I'm about ready to quit taking the antidepressants if they only make me listless all the time.

Meds I'm on are Topamax ( for migraine prevention.. does a SUPERB job!) ,But also works as a mood stabilizer, and helps keeps the pounds away.. Also on low dose Zoloft( drug of choice) . And Klonopin . Happy with this mixture.
