@Maryanne52 @Courtney_J I really focus on handling my triggers. So I watch my diet ( I have a hard time with raw vegetables, some dairy, spicy foods) and I try to do things to reduce stress like a bit of yoga and stretching.

I take Amatiza , Dicyclomine and Zanaflex scripts and over the counter fiber pills.
It took 2, almost 3 years and 4 drs to get this diagnosis. I couldn’t function. I was sick all day every day and when the spasms would come I just wanted to crawl in a hole. I made myself work but I did nothing else. I’d go home and go to bed. I didn’t see family unless they came to see me. I lost almost 80 pounds ( which I needed but most of that’s back !)
I still have issues because stress feeds into it but it’s not even close to how I was before the medication.

I have been living with IBS since 2010 and it is really hard too in take milk products like cheese mayonnaise, any greasy stuff like hamburger's etc. I get to be very frustrated that you don't know when it's going to hit...I don't like using port john's or store bathroom's but sometime I eally don't have much of a choice in the matter......So i try to watch in wht I eat when I am out.
