ABSOLUTELY! My daughters and I have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis which is an autoimmune hypothyroid condition. My daughters both got to over 230lbs and had gastric bypass surgeries and have done well, although it seems to get harder to maintain the weight loss and these surgeries can often cause poor absorption of nutrients from food and vitamins in pill form.
We also have a genetic predisposition to Diabetes II, non alcoholic fatty liver disease, also called NASH or NALD
When I found this out I immediately started on a strict ketogenic diet and lost 45lbs from 180 to to 135, reversed my fatty liver and my A1C and blood glucose are now completely normal. The weight loss was over 3 months, I had lost 25-30 lbs and the rest is slower and takes constant vigilence but is well worth the effort!!

Yes I'm suffering with the same, and since being diagnosed I have gained so much weight. I feel like I have no motivation at all to do anything & constant fatigue. Feeling deflated.

Dealing with hypothyroidism and Hashimoto's can be a real challenge. It sounds like you've been through a lot on your journey. Weight fluctuations are frustrating, especially when you're doing your best with medication, diet, and exercise. It's common for thyroid issues to make weight management tougher, even with treatment adjustments. Remember, you're not alone in this struggle. Many others with thyroid conditions experience similar challenges. And hey, if you're exploring different avenues to support your health, some folks have found helpful resources by searching for buy steroids online. Just be sure to research thoroughly and consult professionals before making any decisions.

Years ago when it was finally discovered that I had hashimotos, I went on levothyroxine and, with diet and exercise, lost almost 100 pounds. I have been gaining weight increasingly since then but I just had my thyroid checked and it is off again. This time, even after the increase of levothyroxine, I have been gaining weight like crazy. Granted, I am eating more and not exercising. I know that has a big role, but I’m just wondering if maybe the hashimotos is making it harder and if anyone else has experienced this?
