Hello @suplkr1, how are you feeling today?
Thank you so much for starting this discussion. I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing foot drop, it can indeed be a common symptom of MS. Have you consulted with your healthcare provider regarding this? It's better to address the problem as soon as you can in order to not let the condition deteriorate.
I'll go ahead and tag a few members of our team now for better reach and so that they can share their own experiences:

Hello everyone! How are you?
Have you also experienced foot drop as a symptom of MS? What do you use to help you walk?
Take care now,

I've had this issue for a while. I use a cane, walking chair and scooter to get around.

I have drop foot on my left foot. You can get the sports tape at the pharmacy that you can get directions on YouTube to use and it has helped me. It helps you use your muscles instead of an AFO that will help but your muscles atrophy. It is also very helpful to get physical therapy. I was able to get it as home care and my Medicare covered it. I hope this helps!!

Hi,
I just discovered that what I've been experiencing is called foot drop. I cannot lift the top of my foot and my toes drag a bit. I had a feeling it was related to my MS but I didn't know it was a common symptom. Does anyone here have it? What do you use to help you walk?
