Hi @IPmomof1
I'm sorry to hear that your little girl is sick, I hope she gets well soon! It'g great you already have the appointment, but it must be unsettling not to know if having more swirls is bad or 'normal'. We don't have too many members linked with IP, but I will tag them and hope they can offer you some kind of information.
Hi @Alice6107 and @Stevie
What are your experiences being sick with IP? Does your skin 'flare up' when you have a fever?
Take care everyone,
Lizzi

Although most persons with incontinentia pigmenti are intelligent, the illness may have an impact on the brain. Seizures and other neurological issues, as well as delayed development or intellectual disabilities, may also be present.

Hey all! Im new here and trying to find out how 'normal' this is. My 8 month old daughter has IP (Incontinentia Pigmenti) and usually just has a few swirly marks on her stomach. She currently has a cold with a slight fever and now she has the swirl marks all over! I have read elsewhere some people say this is normal and others saying this is something bad? Any insight? Thanks all :) and yes we have an appointment scheduled for end of week
