I'm very open about my sleep apnea. One thing that was surprising is how long it took to get used to the cpap.

Hi everyone, how are you doing today? π
Sleep apnea is more common than many people realize, but talking about it can feel uncomfortable. Some people worry about the stigma, they might feel embarrassed about snoring, using a CPAP machine, or having a condition often associated with older adults. But the reality is sleep apnea can affect people of all ages, shapes, and sizes.
β Have you ever felt embarrassed about your sleep apnea?
β Did you hesitate to get diagnosed or use a CPAP because of how you felt about it?
β What helped you become more comfortable talking about it?
