I usually don't snore when I have my CPAP. When I do snore, it's usually because the mask is misplaced or there is another problem

Hi everyone. Happy Friday!! Snoring while wearing a CPAP. I Googled it, evidently not good. Snoring & wearing CPAP is telling u that some, if not all the treatment, is not working right. Yeah, take Google w grain of salt, but there was logic in argument somewhere. I live alone, so don't know if I stills snore. Exhausted as I am makes me think I must still do it. Who else has their tale to tell? Restful night wishes all.

Hi @Verycansada
How are you doing today?
I think the CPAP mask can work for everyone differently. Weight can also play a role in snoring. If you are concerned, I would consult your doctor.
I will tag a few other members who may be able to share some of their experiences.

Do you use a CPAP machine? Has it's effectiveness changed due to changes in weight? What else has affected your snoring?
Take care,
Lizzi from the Carenity team

Yes, I'm told by my wife that I do indeed snore through my mask.
I mentioned this to my PCP and he recommended I increase the pressure rate. I'm already at "10" so there's no wiggle room.
Unsure about the ramifications of my situation, however. Yours may be different!

Gained some pounds, and suddenly the CPAP turned into a snore machine. It's kinda annoying, right? For me, tweaking the mask fit and adjusting the pressure helped a bit.

I gained a bit of weight and now I snore with my CPAP mask and I am worried it might be bad. Does anyone have the same issue? Thank you in advance!!
