Hi @majortom
I'm sorry to hear your CPAP machine is giving you troubles. I think this is very common with new CPAP users. There is definitely an "adjustment curve" to wearing one and getting maximum benefits from it. Since you have experienced success, I can see you sticking with the trial and error period to create a successful new habit.
I'll tag a few people who may be able to give you some advice.

Do you use a CPAP? What was the adjustment period like? What tricks do you use to make the mask comfortable? Any other thoughts to share?
Lets help @majortom get a good night's sleep!
Take care,
Lizzi from the Carenity team

I’ve had a Cpap machine for about 5 years. I understand your frustration with ill-fitting masks! In my experience, it’s the headgear and not the mask that changes over time because it stretches out of shape. Try tightening the Velcro straps on the sides, and don’t forget the one on top. Start with tiny increments to see if that helps. Usually it’s just a small adjustment and you’re back in business! Also, some masks have a clear rubber seal, while others have a gray foam-type seal. If the rubber one isn’t working for you, ask your doctor or sleep clinic about the foam-lined type. Those work much better for me. I hope these suggestions help you get back to trouble-free sleep!

Hi I got my Cpap a few weeks ago- It was great the few weeks, I had no issues and was sleeping great! Then I started to struggle. I think it is a mental problem- I was so excited to find something that works. But now the mask is difficult, it falls off, isn't comfortable. I am a side sleeper so its not easy. I'm hyper aware of the machine. I hate to admit it but I've already stopped using it every night it became too cumbersome.
PLEASE. I neeed suggestions, I slept SO well those first nights, how do I get back there.??
