hi @CAkid78 my Dad has sleep apnea, and it also took him a long time to get used to his mask but he did eventually. So don't lose hope! Or talk to your doctor about it if you really can't stand it there might be other solutions.

Insomnia is a sleep disorder that causes people to have difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep. It can be a problem at any stage of life, but it is most common in middle-aged adults. Insomnia can be caused by a combination of things, including stress, anxiety, and poor sleep habits. The sleep-wake disorder is a sleep disorder that is characterized by an inability to stay in either a deep or light stage of sleep.

it took me a few weeks to get used to ; i used to freak out with this thing over my face; i talked to my doctor he told me to just put the mask on during the day for a few minutes while watching tv or while in the house you will make your brain on mind get used to it ; i did that several days 5 yrs later I'm still wearing it; go to sleep normal.

I sleep with my mask on. Use some type of cotton lining so I don't get marks on my face from wearing the mask. The only I don't sleep with my mask on is when I lay on my stomach..

Hi all. Happy new workweek. I've had sleep apnea for few years now. Had couple CPAP's both of which insurance took away. Wasn't using them enough, they said. I bought my own, but no straps came with it. Who uses a CPAP w/o straps?? Bought them myself. They'll use Any tactic to get at ppl's $$. I set my unit on floor & bring hose & mask to face. Works best for me. How do others use theirs? Keep warm!!!!

Hi, I have been diagnosed with sleep apnea at 35/hour, I have been on ppc for 3 days now, and my nights are an ordeal. All I do is cry, I can't stand the mask on my nose, I feel like I'm choking on it. How long did it take you to get used to it? I have the impression that I will never be able to. I'm starting to lose hope.
