Emilie Pain
Data Scientist
Emilie Pain is a Data Scientist and Carenity's Data Protection Officer (DPO). She conducts real-life patient studies and participates in scientific article writing and publication. She is also manages the PatientLive (patient-live.com) platform, which allows Carenity members to be contacted with quick; auto-administered patient polls consisting of 1 to 5 questions. Emilie also oversees the company's internal implementation of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) practices.
Emilie Pain has a degree from the Institut Superieur des BioSciences de Paris (ISBS, Creteil, France). Before she joined Carenity's team, she worked as an assistant researcher at the Institut de Biologie Integrative de le Cellule (I2BC, CRNS, Gif-sur-Yvette, France) and the Centre for Regenerative Medicine in Edinburgh (CRM, Edinburgh, Scotland).
During her time at Carenity, Emilie Pain has participated in the production of several posters that were presented at medical conventions that promoted a better understanding of patient experience.
