My mom has just been diagnosed. She's 75. We think though that she's been having warning signs or symptoms for at least the last few years. We didn't really notice them or find them alarming until it escalated a few months ago.

Alzheimer's disease may affect different people at different ages - there is no set age at which Alzheimer's occurs... While the average age of diagnosis is 80, some may have the condition before the age of 65.
