Hello to all. I have bipolar 2, and up until 36, I went untreated. For numerous significant occasions in my life, I can not remember anything. Other than that, my mind is remarkably sharp for my age. Manic episodes may be linked to memory loss of the events but I am not sure. Has anyone faced similar difficulties?

I have memory loss from ECT. It’s bad. I’ve lost about 80-90%. I also have short term memory loss. Sometimes I’m glad I’ve lost my memory. So I don’t relive all the horrible events. I’m just doing the best I can to live a happy, peaceful life, day by day.
