Look for support after attempting to take my life

im glad you texted. I’ve been dealing with tough depression since being discharged from a psy hospital a couple of months ago. Yes I have had suicidal thoughts but a while back I promised my family that I’d never do that. It is tough being depressed but it’s worth being alive!  I believe God has a plan for each of our lives and He is with you during this time. I will keep you in my prayers, hang in there and reach out to people who care about you.  You will make it David

@AlishaLynn please stay here with us. I know it's tough, take it day by day. Celebrate another day because you are worth staying here. Just please reach out if you feel the need to try to take your life again. We need people like you to influence us and guide us. You are loved, I truly believe there are people who would mourn you and feel empty without you. When the thoughts are too hard to bare, I try to think of every single person I know will be affected by my decision and I would hate to see them become depressed (just like us) because of our action. Just keep holding on, we got your back. 

@Buck58 David, that was beautifully said. I also think our Lord and Savior is with us helping us and trying to give us peace. One of the reasons I've been feeling better is because I've been reading the scriptures. I believe we can make it to the other side when it's His will and not ours.
