Hi ya. I have Asperger's. It Is Just a label, yes, & I'm much more than any label!! We all are. Global Labelling, not quite sure how to interpret that. Society does seem to look down on mental illness. I was born like that. I can't "change" just to appeal to u or anyone. I'm not "bad". I'm different. And different isn't always a bad thing. We are people first & foremost! Accept & embrace humanity, despite how horrible it all appears. All in all, not everyone is terrible. Some of us have traits that others wish we wouldn't have. BUT, they were born w/ some Cross to bear too. Just maybe not visible. Think Golden Rule, do unto others as u want them to treat u. Kindergarten stuff really. Like they say, most everything we need to know is learned in Kindergarten. Don't hurt others, take turns, be polite. Good night everyone.

I know that hurts a lot … and I know you probably won’t believe, but things will get better.
Let’s talk about why you feel things will never get better, and maybe this will help you know why thing are definitely gonna get better.
The second one is called “Global Labeling”.
What is “Global Labeling”.
Calling yourself names like “failure, “coward” “lazy,” “stupid,” “ugly,” “weak,” “clumsy,” “hopeless is global labeling.
2. How to know if you’re doing it?
If inside your head you keep criticizing your appearance, performance, intelligence, relationships, and so on by using the words I mentioned above, then you’re engaging in “global labeling.”
3. How to end it?
Be specific by replacing the label with an accurate definition of what you don’t like. For example, instead of “I’m fat,” say, “I’m fifteen-and-a-half pounds over my ideal weight.”
And use these statements to get you started in catching and eliminating global labels:
• Stop! That’s just a label.
• That’s not me; that’s just a label.
• Labels exaggerate a tiny part of me.
• No more labels—be specific.
• I refuse to call myself names.
• Exactly what do I mean by …….. ?
• My experience is too limited for global labels ever to be true.
• Labels are mistaken opinions based on limited experience.
• I have far more good points than bad.
Helpful: Write these questions on a piece of paper or screenshot the whole post and read this stuff every single day until this becomes a habit.
Do it Now: think of a thought you have and use these statements to debunk what your inner critic is saying.
And let me know how things work out :D
Btw, a friend brought my attention to something and I want to mention it here.
These posts may make it look easy to overcome this way of thinking, I might be easy for some I don’t know. But it was not easy for me. So, please don’t feel like if you can’t repeat this statement one time and suddenly heal that there is something wrong with you.
There isn’t. this thing takes time, so just give it time and things will work out okay.
I believe in you.
And I hope this post has served you well.
