@Methodist I agree with you. Truly experiencing our emotions and what we feel is so hard. My therapist once told me that I shouldn't run away from how I feel or try to hide it. We're allowed to feel a certain way or thing and in response to what we're going through in life. It's when you sit there with that feeling and try to understand it and why you're feeling it that you make progress.

Living with depression, I've realized that instead of running from the pain I need to feel it in order to heal it. In your experience how do you think of strong emotions that deeply affect you in a way that you could use them to grow from them?
