For the most part I feel supported by family and friends and for that I am not only grateful but lucky. However, it is strangers or people unfamiliar with the condition that I usually have to explain the nature of the illness.
I try to inform the people who are with me often, what to do in the event I have a seizure or become unconscious.

Regarding your diagnosis and condition with epilepsy:
Have you ever encountered lack of understanding from family? Friends/colleagues? Strangers?
How do you deal with this? What seems to be the most common lack of understanding?
