Hi @1902man
How are you doing today?
This is an interesting topic. I think the first thing to do is talk to your doctor about taking ibuprofen for epilepsy. They will first be able to warn you about possible side effects and hazards for this treatment. It's great that you were able to get decent results with acupuncture. I will tag a few other members to see if they have experience with Levetiracetam and Topamax and ibuprofen.

What medications you tried for your epilepsy? What worked? What didn't? Have you tried ibuprofen?
Let's give some insight into this for @1902man.
Take care,
Lizzi

My different treatments affect different people differently. What works for me won't necessarily work for you. However, Lizzi is right about Ibuprofen with Levetiracetam. I can't speak for everyone. However, in my case, Ibuprofen tends to reduce the potency of Levetiracetam. Therefore increasing my breakthrough seizures. What I have always taken, that even my neurologist approved of, is Tylenol.

I have been on Levetiracetam and Topamax for a long time. I have tried acupuncture to some positive results I suppose too. My wife takes ibuprofen for her migraines and it seems to really help her. I know the diseases are not the same but could I use it to treat my condition too. Online searches say it is possible but I am not sure. What to do?
