@April1
Wow! You sound just like me except my fatigue was treated with months of testosterone. I was finally diagnosed in early 2016. This sounds crazy but it was good to finally have a label to put on it all. Stay strong. I smoke as well and a lot of the severity is still blamed on cigarettes. I miss feeling good as I'm sure you do. Take care

It has been 4 months since symptoms began and I’m still having symptoms. Tingling pain in my legs and spasticity in my knees. When I pee I can’t feel it coming out. I’m fully functional but the symptoms are very annoying and I’m gaining weight. I hope the symptoms go away soon.

Just diagnosed with MS this past June. Memory loss, vision problems, incontinence, and gait problems. I started on steroid infections but with no effects. Started Tecfidara but have bad allergic reaction and had to stop. Waiting for Ocrevus infusions. In the meantime, I had a flare up and had to take 3 days of intensive steroids. Is this what I have to look forward to in the future?

@Hank#1 wow, sounds like me before I was diagnosed with MS. Find a neurologist who specializes in MS. It was the only thing that finally put a name to it and I could then fight it. It's still difficult since I was only diagnosed three months ago, but at least I'm in meds and it's beginning to help. No magic pill or infusion but thank goodness im no longer looked at as crazy, hypochondriac, etc.
Good luck!

@NewLeaf I have an incredible neurologist at Oschner in New Orleans. I get the Ocrevus infusion every 6 months and my symptoms have stabilized.

@MS_283 I too have libido issues and incontinent issues too. All the regular symptoms too. I'm not sure who to talk to about the whole libido thing and incontinent thing, but something has to give. I'm still a relatively newlywed albeit older. My poor husband because all my symptoms are going crazy. Only diagnosed 3 months ago.

My first symptoms were perhaps balance and falling issues. I had a knee that needed replacing so I kept blaming the falling on the knee. I felt like I couldn't lift my foot up enough so I would scrape the toe, then fall or trip on a step. Another symptom was not being able to concentrate periodically and another symptom was deep fatigue which was blamed on anemia due to female issues and an eventual hysterectomy. But there were and are still times when I am extremely fatigued and my eyes hurt and I need a dark room and a place to lay down. When I think about it, some of those issues happened in my 40s.

My first symptoms were the day after the Super Bowl 15 years ago. Woke up and couldn’t see out of my left eye. After three dr I found it was optic neuritis. Had an MRI done and there was on lesion that was not active on the top of my brain. I went 4 years without a symptom and being diagnosed.

I'm still waiting on my official diagnosis but I've been having double vision/blurred vision and balance/dizziness for the past few years. I originally thought it was an inner ear issue since I stupidly didn't put the two symptoms together.

@BusterBluth the blurred vision could be optic neuritis. That was the first symptom of my MS, but I wasn’t diagnosed until three years after the optic neuritis diagnosis

Hello everyone,
Multiple Sclerosis brings a whole host of symptoms that many patients endure before being diagnosed. Some of the most common symptoms are double vision, bladder issues, pain and spasms...unfortunately, the list goes on.
What Multiple Sclerosis symptoms did you first experience? How did you manage the symptoms?
