@Shariso3 You say you've been on Kesimpta for 3 years? Were you in the trials? Could you provide more feedback on how it has worked for you and what you were on before? Thanks.

@dankirkd Hey thanks for the info. I really appreciate it. I have had 3 doses so far with no problems whatsoever. I tried Copaxone and Aubagio first and had adverse reactions with both. So I am really happy with the results so far but like you I have no idea if it is doing anything or not. Compared to Copaxone I found this injection much easier to use, little to none injection site pain, and no hard knots at injection sites. I know it is early but I am hopeful that I have finally found the right medication for me.

@dankirkd yes! I was part of the trials. I love it! No real side effects. One shot each month! So easy! I highly recommend it!!

@dankirkd I forgot to say that I was on Tysabri and Coapxone prior.

@Shariso3 Is there a forum where people like yourself, who have been on Kespimta for a long time, and were in the trials, share their experiences? I've found it hard to find anecdotal info of that sort since it has been available for so much less time than Ocrevus, for example.

I’m newly diagnosed and have to decide on treatment plan. My dr highly suggests Kesimpta as first choice than Gilenya and ticfadera as 2nd and third. I’m nervous because Kesimpta is so new...anyone have thoughts?? My biggest problem is I read side effects on all the drug options and it gives me anxiety.

My dr just switched my medication because Aubagio isn’t working. He gave me several options, including Ocrevus, but We decided Kesimpta because I’d like to have the freedom to travel without planning around infusions. I’m just starting Kesimpta now and finding it really hard to get a lot of current information on the med, I assume because it’s so new. Any recommendations before starting it? Also Is anyone familiar with the requirements around refrigeration for it? I remember Avonex or maybe Copaxone could stay out of the fridge for an extended period of time before taking but everything I see about Kesimpta is much more limited (6 hours?)

Hello everyone,
I hope you're doing well! If you haven't seen it already, we've just published an article on KesimptaⓇ, which has just finally been authorized in the UK and EU, after being authorized in the US in August 2020! In it we explain how the drug and monoclonal antibodies work, discuss the trial results and the benefits of this new drug: KesimptaⓇ (ofatumumab): A new treatment for relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS).
Has anyone else been prescribed Kesimpta for your RRMS? If so, what do you think of it? Has it been effective? Have you had any side effects?

THanks for sharing the article. I've been interested in switching to Kesimpta because I'm not satisfied with what I'm currently on and the pens would give me so much more flexibility/freedom. @KatherinePa I'm interested in the same sort of information you're looking for before I meet with my doctor to talk it over.
@Shariso3 Can you speak to any of these questions after your experience in the trial?

Has anyone tried Kesimpta and if so what were the outcomes?
