Hi @1988MS
How are you doing today?
Here is an article I found from the FDA about Tyruko : https://www.fda.gov/news-events/press-announcements/fda-approves-first-biosimilar-treat-multiple-sclerosis
"Tyruko, a biosimilar to Tysabri (natalizumab), is based on evidence that showed there are no clinically meaningful differences between the two products in terms of safety, purity and potency (i.e., safety and effectiveness)."
These drugs should be more affordable and thus more widely accessible to those who need it.
I will tag a few members to see if they have any experience to discuss.

Have your doctors mentioned Tyruko? Do you have any experience with Tysabri? Does it help your MS? Do you think with this announcement treatment will be more affordable?
Let's share!
Take care,

Hi! "Biosimilar" means it's a highly similar version of an already FDA-approved biologic drug. Think of it like a generic but for complex meds. It's new, so experiences might be limited. I've tried biosimilars before, and they generally aim for the same effectiveness with a lower cost. By the way, do you guys know where I can find a good rehab center in Chandler, AZ? I have to take care of my friend who has a drug addiction. Your recommendations will be very helpful!

Hi all-
I saw the FDA approved a "biosimilar" drug "Tyruko (natalizumab)" but I am confused by what it means...
Since it was just approved, I'm not sure anyone has tried it, but maybe you understand what the terminology means?
