My summer consisted, of my uncle passing away in July, from 3 year battle of cancer, I went to Rhode Island for a weekend and went sailing and learned how to sail. My cars head gasket broke so I had to fix it and it finally got fixed in August. I went to Vermont for a week and spent time with family. I went hiking and found some old towers, went to the beach, spent time with friends and family. Spent time with an a couple of old friends who I had not seen in a while. It was nice. And I spent time with my brother and his wife in NY state. Spent time with my mom. And was able to finally read a book again after not being able to find time for a few years to sit down and read a good book and relax.

@Tiffany,
Thank you for sharing. I am very sorry to hear of the passing of your uncle. My sincere condolences.
I am glad to hear that you were able to spend some time sailing and spending some time with your family in Vermont. It is great to see family!
What book did you read/reading?

@Tiffany ... I just googled it. It looks like it was made into a movie also. Did you see the movie? Sounds like a great book. I am reading "Smile Now Cry Later" - sort of a biography of Freddy Negrete

Hello Carenity members,
As summer comes to end, we at Carenity hope everyone had an excellent summer. Did you know that this has been a hotter than average in most parts of the USA this year?
Tell us about your summer:
Did you take any vacations? Did you travel anywhere outside of the USA?
Did you spend time outside? By the pool/ocean/lake?
Did the weather affect any of your conditions, good or bad? How did you manage to stay cool or any affects the summer had on your conditions?
We look forward to hearing about your summer and we hope you enjoy the few weeks we have remaining.
