I would continue to search out other doctors. Many doctors are no longer accepting Medicare. Many doctors are leaving the traditional health care roles to go into private pay agreements. Kathy RN

Hello everyone, how are you doing?
It can be incredibly stressful if your doctor decides to stop accepting Medicare. Unfortunately, this has been happening more frequently as some providers opt out due to problems with reimbursement rates or administrative issues. For patients, this change can lead to disruptions in care and tough decisions about next steps.
If this has happened to you, how did you handle it? Did you find a new doctor, negotiate fees, or explore direct payment options? What advice would you share with others who might be in this situation?
