I use to focus on issues, now I try to just live it out and let Nature take its course. Took me awhile to get to this point but got some counseling and it helped some. Whatever life gives you, you must deal with it. Getting help when sick is most important part of the illness. VA been helpful.

@TCoffey Hi,
Thank you for sharing your perspective—it sounds like you've gone through quite a journey to find peace with your condition. Seeking counseling must have been a big step, and it’s great to hear that it helped you reach this mindset. 🌿
You mentioned letting nature take its course—was there a specific moment or experience that helped you shift your focus? Also, it’s wonderful to hear the VA has been supportive. Are there particular resources or programs there that have been especially helpful for you?
Your story is inspiring, and I’m sure others in the community can learn from your outlook. Feel free to share more if you'd like!
Take care,
Somya from the Carenity team 🌼

Hello everyone,
Living with a chronic illness can change the way we see and feel about our bodies. Dealing with symptoms, side effects, or physical changes can sometimes make it hard to feel connected or positive about our own bodies.
How has your condition changed the way you view your body? Have you found ways to improve your self-image or feel more accepting of your body as it is?
