I did not go to a referral but I called the office and spoke to the Dr and he said I can wait until I get another blood test. And exam. The cardiologist had seen me last fall and I think my Dr forgot that I saw him.

Each person has the right to make their own health choices, and we must honor that. As someone who didn't receive the COVID-19 vaccine, I stand firm in my decision. At the time, I was considered high-risk due to brain lesions, yet when I contracted COVID, I recovered in just one day with minor symptoms, staying home and isolating responsibly. My choice didn't harm anyone, and in fact, I've been much healthier since. I know many who took the vaccine and suffered severe side effects, with some even losing their lives shortly after. Whether there's a connection is still up for debate. What’s clear is that health isn't one-size-fits-all.
I prioritize my wellness through prebiotics, probiotics, and other alternative methods. Despite being told I had only six months to live over six years ago, I’ve thrived by following my own path. We each need to evaluate what’s best for our unique bodies. Medications may not be for everyone, and they’re not right for me right now. I've found alternative ways to maintain my health and will continue to evolve in my journey. Like anything, health requires focus and periodic adjustments. I’m continuously learning and adapting to optimize my well-being.
Ultimately, each of us has the right to choose our own health plan—whether through mainstream or alternative methods. No single approach works for everyone. My path includes stem cell activation, grounding, and a whole-body approach, and it has empowered me to live beyond expectations. This is my plan, and I’m proud of it. We all deserve the freedom to find what works for us.

Hi @Shiningstarspc,
Thank you for sharing such a personal and empowering story. You’ve clearly given a lot of thought to your health decisions, with how well you’ve navigated your own journey. Everyone’s body reacts differently, and it’s important to recognize those unique experiences. How do you balance your lifestyle when it comes to health, especially with the many different alternative methods you’re using?
Take care,

Hello everyone,
How are you today?
The refusal of medical care, where patients with chronic illnesses choose not to follow recommended treatments (for example, during COVID-19), has sparked some really heated debates.
Some view it as an individual right to autonomy and personal choice, while others highlight the risks to public health, the possibility of preventable complications, and increased healthcare costs. This topic raises important ethical and practical questions about balancing personal freedom and collective responsibility.

Have you ever refused treatment or care recommended for your chronic illness? If so, what were your reasons? How do you see the balance between a patient's right to refuse treatment and their responsibility to their own health and society as a whole?
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts below!
Take care and have a great day,
