Being a classically trained chef, who's taste buds have been impacted by the treatments that I have been on, I rely on my sense of smell and sight to remember how the food tasted pre-MS.

Oh, this is easy.
I live by myself and do NOT cook.
I have a DoorDash tab open 24/7 :))))))
Secret is portion control and knowing what types of food to order (No fried, etc)

I’m going through chemo and don’t have much of an appetite but I still try to cook the same for my husband when I feel up to it. He also cooks. Some wonderful relatives and friends have brought us meals. What a wonderful gesture that is! I rely a lot on high protein Ensure when I just can’t eat. I also look for high protein snacks to get me through when meals are just too much.

It is important to have a conversation about the risks associated with combining medications and changing schedules, particularly for individuals who work nights. It serves as a helpful reminder to always get advice from our healthcare providers before making any adjustments. [This content has been moderated by an administrator]

cooking definitely took on a new challenge. I used to love spending hours in the kitchen trying fancy recipes, but now, managing energy levels is key. That's where my "holy grail" ingredient comes in: frozen vegetables!
They're a lifesaver. I can toss them in stir-fries, soups, or even just roast them with some olive oil and spices for a quick side dish. They're packed with nutrients, save me a ton of chopping time, and don't require a ton of energy to prepare.
