@Courtney_J One of my friends is a nurse so I saw that it's International Nurses Day today. I'm thinking a lot about all the wonderful nurses in my life who have been there for me when I've been sick or needed reassurance. If anyone on here knows any nurses or is one themself, thank you! Thank you for everything you do to keep us healthy and safe, especially during this crisis

@minnymom68 Hello minnymom68 thank you for commenting! Today is indeed International Nurses Day!
May 12th (Florence Nightingale's birthday), is International Nurses Day! Today we mark and celebrate the important work of our healthcare heroes! Not only are our nurses currently engaged in the fight against the coronavirus, but they're also committing to helping the sick and safeguarding public health every day!
Have nurses had an impact on your care? Do you have any words of thanks or support for our nurses today?
Feel free to share your words and thoughts here!
Take care,
Courtney

Hello everyone,
If you didn’t already know, April 7th is World Health Day! This year’s theme, set by the World Health Organization (WHO), is “Support nurses and midwives.” So today, we celebrate the crucial work of nurses and midwives and recognize the key role they play in keeping us all in good health!
Nurses and other healthcare workers are on the front lines of the COVID-19 response, ensuring quality treatment and care, leading the community to answer questions and quell fear, and much more.
Putting it plainly, without nurses, there would be no response!
So today, let’s take the time to talk about the nurses and midwives in our lives: How have nurses or midwives had an impact on you or your care? If you could thank a nurse or midwife right now, what would you say? Feel free to share your thoughts below!
Take care,
Courtney
