@Courtney_J I think we're heading there for sure, unfortunately... I read that some of the big travel days before Christmas were hitting levels of years in the past, aka pre-pandemic. My family made the choice to not travel to see other family this year, but unfortunately that's not the case for many others. Let's hope that the new vaccine does much to limit the third wave!

@heartful I unfortunately think so too. Unless we make some major changes and/or ramp up the vaccine roll-out. But I think it's already at its max and I'm not sure as a country we can take more restrictions 😔

I work in an Assisted Living Facility. 98% took the vaccine. Only one employee did. I hope the vaccine proves to slow the virus... but I only feel it will slow it. I did not take the vaccine as I feel it hasn’t been tested on enough people or for long enough. No cases of COVID have happened in our facility among residents OR employees.

Hello everyone,
How are you today?
Many of us in the US want to turn the page and join together as a family to celebrate the festive season. But it's important that we not lose sight of what we already know: as we transition in and out of quarentine or stay-at-home orders, a resurgence of infections is certain. A large portion of the population has not yet been exposed to COVID-19 and the vaccination campaign has only just gotten underway.
What do you think about this? Do you think we're taking the right steps and making enough effort to slow the spread as the holidays approach? Do you think that celebrating Christmas and the New Year is risky this year?
Feel free to share any thoughts with us in the comments below!
Take care,
Courtney
