Breast cancer and intimacy: How do you manage it?

Has your intimate life changed since diagnosis? Does your partner understand and support you? Do you have any advice to share?

Intimacy has been hard for me. Before I got diagnosed I was talking to someone. But it didn't end up working out since our relationship was so early on in my diagnosis. Part of his fear was that in the future my cancer would put a strain on the relationship. So, cancer has definitely be a type of strain on my intimacy. Honestly, I think people get scared when they hear 'cancer' and chemo. I guess its understandable, but it makes it tough for those of us going through it. Even though we are sick, we still need love, maybe more than others. Kind of sucks...
