The issue of food appears not to be very clear. Some school of thought will say do not eat meat, sugar etc, another says you can eat these. For me, I eat them but moderately. Moderately from fear lol...

Hello,
The chemo I am on is not affecting my eating but the radiation treatments after 2 weeks have significantly affected my eating. I can only eating cream soups and ice cream at present, or anything very creamy and soft. I crave flavor which has diminished significantly as well.

I always try to focus on foods that nourish my body and help with recovery. I’ve found that a light, balanced meal with protein is great. For example, before a treatment, I like a smoothie with organic whey protein powder, which is a great source of clean protein, and it helps me feel energized without feeling too heavy. Afterward, I usually go for something soothing like a vegetable soup or grilled chicken with quinoa to replenish my energy. It’s important to listen to your body, so I always choose what feels best for me. What do you usually eat before or after treatment?

Hi there,
Just wanted to know what foods you have found best to eat before/after chemo treatment? I always have pain and cramping :(
