@Blueboy Hello Blueboy, Happy birthday from all of us here at Carenity! I'm sorry you're feeling sad on your special day, but I understand how you feel. It's the one day a year to celebrate you and I can't imagine what it must be like to experience it when the country is shut down like this. Maybe you can celebrate with family and friends "virtually" over the phone or video chat for now and then make big plans once your state is open for business again? Sending you best wishes from the Carenity Team!
Take care,
Courtney

@Blueboy Aw happy birthday! I'm sorry you're spending your big birthday cooped up! I definitely understand that feeling though, your 21st is such a milestone so it sucks that you can't enjoy it out with your friends like any proper 21st. Don't feel guilty, it's your special day, you can feel however you want! Sending you some internet balloons and cake! And happy birthday from all of us on here!

Happy Birthday! There is no need to feel ashamed for feeling how you feel. I would be pretty upset too. Especially with 21 being pretty much the absolute big one. Three years in a row my daughter's father totally forgot mine. Yeah it's the 30s decade for me but for someone who is supposed to "love" me should at least remember

@harry2020 it's not my daughter's father I have no kids. my issue is I'm disabled and the last 3 years I've been too sick to have food, friends, or a party and havent had any gifts. it's sad because I missed all my "milestone" birthdays and this one is my last and it's not what I wanted

Oh I'm sorry when you add someone's name in a comment that means you're referring to them as well so sorry for the confusion I was referring also to @JMOdegard87 in my comments to you cuz it was her birthday that wasn't that good either. I'm new here trying to figure it all out still. And I'm sorry about your birthday and hopefully you start feeling better physically so you can have much better days to come.

@lupus38 yes it was really good for the circumstances. my fiance was with me a week and left last sunday and I've been pretty depressed all week. its difficult because even when quarantine ends, I have no friends in this state- it's just not my home and I cabt wait to go back to California

so the last 3 years I havent had a birthday at all (no cake, friends, gifts, or party) because of my poor health. finally this year I'm healthy but my big plans were cancelled for my 21st b day today. I've also missed out on other milestone birthdays like my 18 and 16, so im sad my last big birthday won't be how I want. I also feel guilty for being so particular. the house isnt decorated which makes me disappointed and I'm just upset I cant do big plans on my "big day" and feel guilty/ashamed about it
