@Jenni.b Hello Jenni.b, I'm sorry you're feeling this way. Do you have any hobbies or interests? Are there any clubs or groups that you can join in your new city to meet people your age?
Take care,
Lee

@Jenni.b I am sorry because I know exactly how you feel. Everyone I've opened up to treats me like a last resort. I joined carenity hoping to find anyone to talk to that understands our struggles. If you ever need or want to talk I am here. I don't give the best advice but I listen very well.

When I moved a few years ago, I felt pretty isolated too. What helped me was finding small ways to connect, like joining online communities for local hobbies or interests. Even something simple like a volunteer group or an art class can introduce you to new people who might share your vibe.
It’s also okay to feel sad about losing old connections, but don’t be too hard on yourself—it takes time to build new ones. Being in online school can make it harder, but maybe looking into local meetups or clubs could help. I came across this guide about the difficulties of moving into a new city and how to solve them and found some practical tips for navigating these challenges.

I moved to a new city a year ago and when I moved I lost all my friends. The one person I talk too always treats me like a second choice and chooses her other friends instead of me. My siblings go out with their friends and I feel embarrassed with my parents because even my little brother goes out with his friends. I do online school so I’m home all day and I feel like no one cares and everyone judges me.
