Hello.
I’m Benedetta, but everyone calls me Betty.
I know exactly how you feel.
I live alone, and I hate it.
I’m afraid if I fall or something happens, I will not be able to get help because I’m alone.
Even though I have a cat, I get so lonely.

I am sorry to hear how alone and lonely you both feel. Covid has made things much harder, it forced us all to isolate from each other. Here’s what I’ve been doing to fight the feeling of being alone. I volunteer and give back to those who need love. The other thing I do is pray! I also watch positive, uplifting Christian messages on U tube. I have been dealing with terrible depression for 30 years, and started TMS magnetic therapy a while back. After 30 twenty minute treatments my depression has lifted. I highly recommend it, it’s 80 percent effective and I’ve never felt better!!
For once in my life I feel joy, peace, and much love in my life. Instead of isolating in my apartment I am volunteering in my community and have been richly blessed by giving to others. Push yourself to do good for others you will be blessed!
Yes I’m a Christian and I daily live my life as one that has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I am not religious but very spiritual. God listens to our pain and suffering. He cares and will lead you to His peace. I pray a lot for others that are suffering, are lonely or feel like giving up. I’ve been there. I encourage anyone reading this to pray and spend time in His word. He WILL see you through the storms of this life.
I will pray for you both and know you will get through your pain and suffering. Hang in there you will make it! Your friend, David ❤️

Please keep sharing and talking. I need to read these to take my mind off my anxiety. I can’t explain my anxiety, I can’t find words to share, but it is disabling me.

I do not hear or talk to people and I live alone, no family or friends. This Covid is making things worse because I no longer desire to even go out to the stores and such when I am in the mood.
I am more worried about my cats and what will happen to them. I am only assuming that the mail carrier may do a welfare check if my mailbox is jammed full and by then my cats will be dead as well. I live in an area where the neighbors don't know each other either and really do not attempt too.
This is really consuming me lately because I am 62 and I am not in the best of health.
