The best thing to do is just be there for your friend. Your friend will need someone to check on them and someone to talk to. Make sure your friend starts meds as soon as possible as well as trying a healthier diet and exercise. Educate yourself about the disease so that you know what your friend is dealing with. That's about all you can do for now😁
