The mask is staying for the time being. Too much of a danger with my medication and the fact that the medication attacks the vaccinations antibodies. For my health the mask is staying!

Hi @MyMS55 and @dan.varady, thank you for opening this discussion and sharing with us! 😀
What do others think?
How are you feeling about the end of mask mandates? Are you comfortable being out and about without a mask? Are you still wearing one? Why or why not? How is your MS doing as we've passed the two-year "anniversary" of COVID?

I fully agree. I always have a mask when out. There are so many new variants. While less dangerous for the average. The doctors and I agree it may be a death sentence for me. Plus protecting others just makes sense

I wear a mask where it is mandatory. I never caught covid bc of not wearing the mask but I did just catch covid omicron from my best friend that i care deeply about while taking care of her. For me it was scary to know i had it but within a few days it was done. No worse than allergies for me. I chalk that up to the m.s. though. With m.s. I had found out the reason I never got sick was bc my immune system was so ramped up. It's just a portion of it was attacking my nerves (m.s.). I have been covid neg for 3 weeks now and feel better than i have in a long time.

I keep the mask on to protect myself and my family. I know the mandate has been removed but I continue utilizing the mask.

I will continue to mask, this weekend was the first weekend I did not mask at large events, and the morning after, I immediately took a at home nasal swab test. Thank goodness both came back negative.

Now that the mask mandates are being lifted around the country in many places. How willing are you to shed your mask when you meet with others?
