Has your usual diet changed a lot after being diagnosed with diabetes type 2? Have you been able to find substitutes for your favorite recipes? Have you tried substituting with bananas? What do you think of that?

Hello,
I see people substituting bananas for a bunch of thing in cooking but I thought they were bad for you because of all the sugar. What is true? Are bananas full of too much sugar or is it actually healthy?
