Hi @cristalis
How are you doing today?
Thank you for getting this discussion topic started. Let me tag a few members to see if they have used GoodRx or any other website to find cheaper prescriptions.

Do you use GoodRx? How does it work? Are prescriptions cheaper? Where else do you get your medication at a good price?
Thanks for your input!
Take care,
Lizzi from the Carenity team

@LizziB Despite the fact that I have never used GoodRX before, I want to begin doing so in the near future.

Yes - I had a Rx that was not covered by MC. GoodRx saved me a lot. I think it's best to to go to a pharmacy that has none of your records.

I am currently trying to get my generic Ampyra prescription filled through GoodRX. My neurologist called me in a new refill order and my co-pay with my primary insurance was going to be over $1000, but he printed out me a card that says it should only cost me about $40.
I contacted GoodRX.com this afternoon and they agreed that my doctor was correct so they are going to investigate why the pharmacy was not recognizing it and promised that they would get back in touch with me tomorrow. I have been recently been getting it from a nonprofit group that has been charging me $1.00 a tablet so I was paying $180 dollars for 180 pills. But if I can get the Good RX card approved that will be very much less.
I also did some research on my own and have discovered that I can probably get several of my top tier medications for a much cheaper price too. So I will be checking this out too.
I am currently taking medication for thyroid issues,,Multiple Sclerosis, my heart attacks, high blood pressure, and COPD, a broken hip that has not healed correctly, and Basal cell carcinoma. So I take a pharmacy of drugs. lol!

Does anyone have experience using goodrx? My dermatologist told me to look them up and use it for my prescriptions but is it worth the hassle to figure out, does it save much money?
