Since being diagnosed in 2019 with PPMS or I call it “ the disease that keeps on taking “ I’ve had 7 teeth pulled due to this disease. It’s bad enough to lose mobility but now teeth? At a loss for what to say or do at this point. Totally stinks.

When I had my last chemotherapy all of my fillings fell out. I have not been able to afford to have them attended to.

Hello everyone,
How are you doing today?
Sometimes our teeth are affected by both chronic illnesses and their treatments. RA can cause gum disease like gingivitis can. RA treatments can cause dry mouth leading to poor mouth health.
Have you experienced declining oral conditions? Do you know what was the cause? What was the result, did you find a solution to declining mouth health? How do you cope?
Let's talk about it!
Take care,
Lizzi from the Carenity team
