Hi @rtr097u1. Your story is similar to that of my ex-wife. She works as a dental hygienist usually about 3 days a week and she actually cleans houses the other days.
She has mentioned to me that she feels her friends look at her differently and swears people at her job look at her differently. I asked her what she means and she said that she just feels like others look at her and think either "what is wrong with her" or "there is something wrong with her."
I am concerned about her also.

So ... for some time now since I have had RA and then eventually had to leave my full-time career job and now work odd temp jobs in my career and clean houses on the side to make ends due, I have felt like my friends and family look at my differently. Hard to explain, but I feel like they feel or look at me in a way that I am not as valuable as a person or that I cannot do certain things.
I told my son about it and he said that it was likely all in my head, but I honestly believe they do look at me differently. Does anyone else think this?
I feel like since I can no longer work in my career and was let go because of my RA and now clean homes they look at me differently. I am just doing what I can do to make ends meet.
