I’m also on enbrel giving myself injections and still hurt really bad. My doctor recommends that I try the infusions. On my next visit I guess I’ll try that. It scares me and I don’t want any worse side effects. Can anyone convince me that this will be better?

Hello,
Recently had a follow up with my doctor and the Nurse Practitioner stated that Enbrel was no longer stopping the progression of RA. She could just tell from looking at my hands, but also an X-Ray was performed.
Therefore, they are recommending changing to a different medication, which I will have to go into the office to have the injection done once a month (no longer can I do injections on my own)...
Has anyone had experience with Enbrel not halting the progression of RA anymore?
