For years I was a functioning addict bout 15 to be exact. I worked took care of my household. When I lost my mom in 2019 things changed. I didn't have that gounding anymore.

It wasn't until I went to jail for the second time within a four month period and got a child endangerment charge that I realized I was sick and killing myself. I don't think I will ever overcome my addiction but I do now have the knowledge and skills to help me stay sober just for today.

If anyone is reading this and wondering if it's possible let me assure you it is. When I finally realized I needed help and was willing to do the work I got better. Things aren't always great just know I'd take my worst day sober than my best day getting high.

We do recover 11-6-2020
