Hi there, @BookmanJr,
Welcome to our community! 😊
Thank you for sharing your story with us. Sounds like you’ve been through quite a lot already, and managing fatigue and joint pain can definitely be rough when you have a warehouse job. Many of our members with AS have mentioned similar problems, so you’re not alone in this. Have you tried including short rest breaks during your workday, light stretching, heat therapy or occupational therapy? Talking to your doctor about possible root causes or changes to your treatment could also be helpful.
I also see that you’re having trouble adding Meloxicam to your medication list. Thanks for letting us know, I'll flag this with our tech support team to help you with that.
In the meanwhile, let me tag a few members of our community to bring this to their attention:

Do you also struggle with fatigue and hand/peripheral joint pain? If so, do you have any tips to manage it that might help? Do you also work in a physically demanding job?
We're all here to support you, and I hope you find some helpful suggestions and connections here. If you have any other questions or just want to chat, don't hesitate to reach out!
Take care,
Somya from the Carenity team 🌼

[This content has been moderated by an administrator for violating Carenity’s Terms of Use.] A balanced diet rich in anti-inflammatory foods (like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and omega-3 fatty acids) may help reduce inflammation. Staying hydrated is also important. While you’re getting a lot of sleep, that sleep quality also matters. Try to maintain a regular sleep schedule, create a restful environment, and limit screen time before bed. Always consult your healthcare provider before significantly changing your routine or treatment plan. Take care!

I think you should go to the doctor and get treatment right at the beginning to avoid using too many antibiotics. Eat a full diet and rest on time, limit doing heavy work.

I am in the severe range now at 74 yrs old. I have found thru trial and error and getting older with SA, I sleep on my back because I can hardly turn to my side now. I also take 10 mg Melatonin. I didn't know it came in 20 mg! (Thanks ladyslipper 67) What has really help with my back pain, when in bed, is a large memory foam wedge. The large end is under my knees and my legs go down to the small end. It doesn't move when I sleep but then again I am not turning over back and forth. This takes the pressure off my back. I hope this helps someone.

Hello, I'm new here! I was diagnosed with AS a few months ago due to SI joint damage, i got lucky and only had to go through one rheumatologist. I'm in my late 20's, work in a warehouse, and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions to help with fatigue and hand/peripheral joint pain? I sleep so much some days (some days i sleep over 12 hours) and yet I'm tired more often than not.
I was prescribed Meloxicam (which I can't seem to add to my medications?) and I try to avoid taking it unless I'm in a lot of pain.
Thanks! 😁
