@harry2020 Hello harry2020, thank you for starting this discussion! I'm sorry you're dealing with that. OCD can be really debilitating and isolating when it's severe or untreated. Our OCD community is smaller (but is still growing!) on here, so we don't yet have a separate group for it. Let me tag some members who can maybe share their story with you!
Hello members, I hope you don't mind that I've tagged you here. How do you deal with your OCD in the day-to-day? What has helped you to overcome it? How were you diagnosed? Have you tried counseling or medications? Feel free to your story and experience here!

Yeah I was wondering if anybody else has obsessive compulsive disorder. Maybe start a discussion about it cuz I know my OCD is really severe right now. Everything I do from locking the door to turning off the oven turning off the water faucet closing cabinet doors turning off light switches you name it I have to do number counting or some sort of counting and it seems to be getting worse. I have had this disorder for over 20 years once again probably anxiety driven because of my poor childhood and feeling abandoned by a family member and betrayed by another family member who instead of loving me always put me down. also have to make sure everything if I put it on a table or counter has to be systemically placed perfectly on a surface which sometimes I use measuring techniques to make sure it's even all over whatever I put down on a table or counter. Once again I appreciate any feedback but please be gentle cuz this is all hard to talk about. Thanks..
