Was diagnosed in 2015 at age 25, Relapsing remitting MS. I am now 27 and things have been becoming worse and new things happening with the MS as well that did not happen before. Nobody in my family has it but my great Aunt on my mother's side so not sure it's genetic either but have heard their has been questions about genetics and even environmental causes. The meds I have tried all failed and I am now trying to handle it more natural routes instead, essential oils and CBD oil as well which contrary to what a lot of people may think as bad, it actually helps ease the tension and pain in my head at times.
Has anyone become worse due to the pressure change in weather or humidity or am I the only one who this has affected? Also, I woke up last night out of the blue, choking and gagging on nothing, I couldn't breathe for a few minutes either and it felt as if something was lodged in my throat but there was nothing and this was a scary thing that has never happened before. Read something about Esophagus Spasms and problems swallowing, anyone else experience this?
Sorry for all the questions just a lot going on and this year has not been a good one as far as attacks and relapses happening a lot.
Thanks.

Hi, I was talking with another internet friend today who has MS and we were saying how it's interesting that MS isn't a hereditary disease but that it the genetic susceptibility can run in families. Genetics are funny.
In my family I'm the only one, but my friend has multiple family members with MS. Fascinating to me. Is anyone else like that?

Hey guys,
I am wondering, how many of us actually have family members that have MS. Since MS is not really considered a "genetic" disease, however, it seems to be a factor, I was just curious to see how many of us have this "factor."
Thank you for reading.
