After the third dose , I consulted with my neurologist and we pushed treatments to 5 1/2 months between treatments. It still keeps me without lesion activity or development.

Hi everyone
How are you doing today?
This thread on Ocrevus got many responses. I would like to invite you all to use the new Carenity feature which allows you the opportunity to rate your treatment. You can leave your opinion on past or current medications. Acting similar to this thread, the tool allows people to look up drugs they are considering taking and see what experiences Carenity members have - does it help reduce symptoms, what are the side effects, how easy is it to administer, etc.
Help us grow our collective knowledge on medications to make the tool useful for everyone!
Take care,
Lizzi from the Carenity team

I just recently had a spinal tap to confirm my MS. My Neurologist has me set up yo begin infusions of Ocrevus on May 3. I had a high JC virus index and I'm just learning of details of MS so I am fearful of PML. Has anyone had any similar experiences or give any insight on the med Ocrevus? Thanks.

@DCFlower Hello! How are you? 😊
Thank you for raising this important question. I'm glad to introduce a feature of Carenity where you can add a medication to your profile, rate it, share your thoughts, and view opinions from others. To use this feature, just search for a medication here.
I believe the information you're looking for can be found on this page: Ocrevus
Hope this helps and have a nice day!

Hello,
I am currently taking Beta interferons and participating in physical therapy 3x a week. I also try to get sufficient rest each day and eat organic to help my body recover.
However, I learned of the new drug Ocrevus, which was just recently approved by the FDA. Has anyone tried it? An recommendations.
According to the Mayo Clinic, it says it treats both the relapse-remitting and primary progressive forms of MS. Clinical trials showed it reduced relapse rate in relapsing disease and slowed worsening of disability in both forms of the disease.
