How many portions of fruit/vegetables do you eat per day? What are your favorites? Do you think consuming enough fruit and vegetables really is that important for our health?
Thank you all in advance!
Take care,

@Somya.P I recognize the importance of consuming fruits and vegetables for health. They provide essential nutrients and antioxidants, so aiming for at least 5 servings a day is beneficial. For example, berries for antioxidants and leafy greens for nutrients.

Hey there! I feel you on the fruit and veggie struggle. Five servings a day can seem like a mountain, especially if you're not used to them. Trust me, I went through a phase where pizza was basically a food group.
But here's the thing: I didn't force myself to love vegetables overnight. I started small. Maybe adding some baby spinach to my morning smoothie (you can barely taste it!). Or trying a new veggie every week, roasted with some olive oil and herbs. Roasted veggies can be surprisingly delicious, especially if you get them nice and caramelized.
Here are a few ideas that might help:
Sneak them in! Mushrooms and grated zucchini can disappear into pasta sauce or soups.
Dip it! Hummus and guacamole can make even the most boring veggies way more exciting.
Think fruit forward! Berries on top of yogurt or chopped apple in oatmeal can add sweetness without feeling like a chore.

I know it's what is recommended, but I really can't make myself eat that much fruit and veggies! I don't know if anybody actually can. Especially when you are not used to it. The only vegetable I like is corn, and I am not so sure it is that healthy when ggrilled. I kind of like apples too, but that's about it! What can I do?? I know healthy diet is paramount for people with chronic conditions, but I just can't do anything about it - I don't like fruit and vegetables!!
thank you for reading me.
