I’ve always remained upbeat despite my condition. The challenges come concerning diet…. which seems to get better when I minimize high sugar and salty foods (snacks)….

That’s a great question I just do I wake up very early 0430-0500hrs go through my morning routine caffeine (green tea) some hard cheese to wash down the meds with do a little reading watch the sunrise until my meds kick in then shower get dressed and head for the office avoid road rage (it’s tourist season) there is usually a line of people waiting for me when I arrive at work rarely giving me time to think how much I hurt from PMR and neuropathy or how intense the ringing noise in my ear is from my latest affliction Ménière’s disease but I am retiring in 33days so a new routine will be in order lol

@Nobighurry Hi,
Thank you for sharing your routine—it sounds like you have such a structured and purposeful way to start your day! 🌅 Watching the sunrise while sipping green tea and reading sounds like a peaceful moment amidst everything you're managing.
It’s amazing how you focus on staying busy and channeling your energy into work, even with the challenges of PMR, neuropathy, and Ménière’s disease. With retirement just around the corner (33 days, wow! 🎉), have you started thinking about what your new routine might look like? Do you have any plans or hobbies you're excited to dive into?
Your resilience is inspiring—thank you for sharing it with us. 😊
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Somya from the Carenity team 🌼

Yes, my spirits are lifted knowing that my condition is a “light and momentary affliction “. That’s what the Bible says our temporary status is while waiting for Christ the King to come for His own! I will get a new body free of pain someday soon. Judging by the world falling apart the way it is, and Bible prophecy being fulfilled, I think His return is VERY near! Hope this clicks with most of you if not all of you!

Prayer and reading my Bible gives me hope in such a broken messed up world. Try to stay away from the news is a very large mental break.

I keep a positive mindset by and through the encouragement of others knowing that my self worth doesn't depend on good health but rather how I tell myself that I have value through God's written Word and the tasks He gives me that can be accomplished through and with His help everyday.

@DonaldEaton Hi,
Thank you for sharing your perspective—it’s truly inspiring to hear how your faith and sense of purpose guide you through challenging times. 🙏 Knowing that your self-worth isn't tied to your health but rather to the meaningful tasks you accomplish with God's help is such a powerful mindset.
It’s wonderful that encouragement from others plays a role in keeping you positive as well. Do you find yourself leaning on a specific community or group for support, or is it more personal moments of reflection and prayer that uplift you?
Your strength and outlook are a reminder of the importance of finding purpose and value in everyday life. 😊
Looking forward to hearing from you,

With depression every day is a challenge. Some days are very good. Other days I can struggle every hour. I need to remind myself that I will overcome this!
